We designed our Bitter’s Bat with a solid body enabling the bait to be fished in heavy cover better than a hollow tube style bait. We moved the wings back on the body of the bait so if a fish grabs onto a wing, the hook point is much more likely to be in the fish’s mouth. This bait is deadly on bedding bass, can be pitched or flipped into heavy cover, used as a jig trailer. Another way to fish this bait is to swim it with a steady retrieve underwater. The wings flap like crazy and fish can’t resist it!!
